Fike Series N70 Clean Agent Containers are used in fire extinguishing systems to store the Clean Agent until a fire develops and the agent must be released. The Clean Agent is retained in the container by a valve assembly which contains a fast acting rupture disc.
Code: C.1.28.01
Supplier: fike
The function of the Fike Engineered Discharge Nozzle, in a fire extinguishing system, is to distribute the Clean Agent in a uniform, predetermined pattern and concentration. The nozzles are designed to complete the discharge of Clean Agent in 10 seconds, or less, when installed within the design limitations of the Fike Design.

The pressure operated siren is used to warn personnel of a system discharge. The siren is operated with the carbon dioxide pressure from the system. The pressure spins the turbine and sounds the siren from the beginning of the discharge throughout most of the discharge time.
Code: C.1.32.01
Supplier: Fike
The pneumatic time delay delays the discharge of CO2 for a predetermined amount of time. This extra time allows personnel to get out of the discharge area. It also allows additional time for ventilation and equipment shutdown.
Code: C.1.33.01
Supplier: Fike
Pneumatic Actuators, P/N C70-233 and N70-233, allow manual actuation of a Fike HFC-227ea or CO2 System for industrial or marine applications. Actuator C70-233 is a singlestep actuator and N70-233 is a two step actuator that is housed in a weather proof enclosure.
Code: C.1.34.01
Supplier: Fike
The Cylinder Strap provides a means to securely fasten the HFC-227ea container to a structural bulkhead. The Cylinder Saddle is used in conjunction with the Cylinder Strap to stabilize the cylinder when it is mounted.

The Local Lever Actuator is used to provide a means of manually discharging the Carbon Dioxide system at the Master Valve location via a stainless steel cable system tied to the Manual Cable Pull Box. The Local Lever Actuator is also used to provide a means of manually discharging the Carbon Dioxide system at the Master Valve location.
Code: C.1.36.01
Supplier: Fike
Check Valves are available for use in pneumatic actuation lines using piping or tubing to prevent back pressure from a Carbon Dioxide discharge from flowing to hazards where it isn’t intended to.
Code: C.1.37.01
Supplier: Fike
The Cable Junction Box Assembly allows manual activation of the Stop/Selector Valve and/or Local Lever Manual Actuator from two locations as allowed by CFR Title 46 Section 95.15-10. The inlet side has four 3/8” NPT connections, and the outlet side has a single 3/8” NPT connection.

The Fike 70-1353 series Liquid Level Indicator is a simple manually operated device which provides a means to determine the Clean Agent liquid level in vertically mounted agent storage containers. Once the liquid level is determined, it can then be converted into pounds (kilograms) of Clean Agent present in the agent storage container.

FM-200 (HFC-227ea) fire suppression agent is the first environmentally acceptable replacement for Halon 1301. FM- 200 has a zero ozone depleting potential, a low global warming potential, and a short atmospheric lifetime. FM-200 can be used to protect a wide range of applications from sensitive electrical equipment to industrial applications using flammable liquids.

The Fike Marine Carbon Dioxide Extinguishing System is designed to be used on offshore applications where single or two-step manual actuation is required. The Fike Marine CO2 system utilizes superior engineered products to accomplish system operation utilizing fewer components which lowers cost and increases system reliability.

The corner pulley is required on a carbon dioxide system whenever remote pull box cable requires a change in direction. Corner Pulleys are installed as part of the cable housing (pipe or conduit) and provides a 90° direction change with minimal loss of force and elimination of induced cable kinking.

The Stop/Selector valve serves two functions: It provides the second step, Stop Valve function that helps to assure the safe release of CO2 into the protected hazard. As a Selector Valve, it directs the flow of CO2 into a specific hazard area when protecting multiple hazards with a common CO supply.
