    The SEVO™ 1230 FORCE500™ Clean Agent Fire Suppression System is a revolutionary new technology for clean agent systems that utilises 3M™ Novec™ 1230 Fire Protection on Fluid and its unique ability to be pressurised to 500psi (34.5 bar). It allows for longer pipe runs and smaller pipe diameters in addition to its cost saving benefits of using less clean agent in smaller and/or fewer cylinders per project.

  • Novec™ 1230 Fire Protection Fluid

    3M™ Novec™ 1230 Fire Protection Fluid, dodecafluoro-2-methylpentan-3-one, (CF3CF2C(O)CF(CF3)2), is a clear, colorless and low odor fluid, one of a long line of 3M products designed as a replacement technology for ozone depleting substances (ODSs).

  • Novec™ 1230 Discharge Nozzles

    The nozzle controls the flow and distribution in the protected area. Five nozzle sizes are available in aluminum: ½”, 1”, 1 ½”,  2”, and 2 ½”. Each nozzle is available with a 360° 16 port (central) or 180° 9 or 7 port (sidewall) discharge pattern. The 9 port nozzles may only be used with FM approved systems.

  • Novec™ 1230 500psi Pressure Gauge Intergrated Switch

    The pressure gauge integrated switch is a means for both visual and electronic monitoring of the pressure condition within the cylinder. Furthermore, the pressure gauge integrated switch eliminates the need for a separate pressure switch.

  • Novec™ 1230 Check Valves

    Check Valves are used when two or more agent storage cylinders are manifolded together with one common discharge piping configuration. Their purpose is to prevent loss of agent in the event that any of the agent storage cylinders are not connected to the manifold at time of system discharge.

  • Novec™ 1230 Clean Agent Cylinders

    The agent storage cylinder is a steel pressure vessel manufactured, tested and stamped in accordance with DOT 4BW500 or DOT 4BA500, TC (Transport Canada). The agent storage cylinder is designed to hold the clean agent at a normal operating pressure of 500 psi (34.5 bar) (35.2 kg/cm²) or 360 psi (25 bar) at 70°F (21.1°C).

  • Novec™ 1230 Cylinder Straps

    The mounting bracket provides a means to securely attach the cylinder to a wall or Unistrut frame channel. The cylinder brackets are manufactured of stainless steel band formed to the radii of the cylinders with flanges for bolting to continuous slot metal framing channel (12 gauge steel with corrosion-resistant paint or galvanized 1100 H Unistrut.)

  • Novec™ 1230 Cylinder Valve Assembly

    The cylinder valves are of a pressure-seated high flow rate design, in order to meet the rapid discharge time specified in NFPA 2001. Each has a brass body, a brass piston with resilient seat, a pressure releasing pilot check, a safety disc assembly, a pressure gauge, and an electric solenoid valve.

  • Novec™ 1230 Liquid Level Indicator

    The SEVO 1230 LL-30020 Series Liquid Level Indicator is a simple, manually operated device, which provides means to determine the fluid level in a vertically mounted cylinder. Use of this device allows for the content of fluid to be determined without removing cylinder from its bracketing and piping for weighing.

  • Novec™ 1230 Modular Cylinder Valve Assembly

    The MCV Series is an integrated clean agent fire suppression system equipped with an agent releasing control panel that is prewired and preprogrammed. The electric actuator, piezo alarm, horn/strobe, and key maintenance switch are prewired to the agent releasing control panel allowing for minimal remote devices to be wired to agent releasing control panel.

  • Novec™ 1230 Pressure Switches

    The operation pressure switch is used to provide a means of detecting system activation. Upon activation of the cylinder valve, the operation pressure switches contacts transfer to indicate discharge or to perform disconnect/activation required during system operation.
